Pompom

Privacy policy

Last updated 22 October 2026

Pompom lets parents pick YouTube episodes for their kids and play them on a TV. We collect as little as we can to make that work, and we never sell data or show our own ads.

What we store

  • Parent account: your name and email from Google Sign-In, used only to sign you in and keep your lists private to your family.
  • Your family's library: the kid names (a first name is enough), colors, show names and the YouTube videos you add (video ID, title, length).
  • Paired TVs: a random identifier for each TV, the name you give it, which kid it belongs to, and when it last checked in.

What we don't collect

  • Kids don't have accounts. We don't collect personal information from children.
  • We don't track what is watched, and we don't use advertising or analytics trackers.

YouTube

Videos play in YouTube's embedded player, so YouTube's own terms and Google's privacy policy apply to playback, including any ads YouTube chooses to show. Pompom uses YouTube's privacy-enhanced embed mode and the YouTube API Services to look up video details. See the YouTube Terms of Service.

Who processes data for us

  • Supabase: database and sign-in, hosted in the EU (Ireland).
  • Vercel: hosts this website.
  • Google: sign-in, and the YouTube player and API.

Your choices

You can remove kids, shows, episodes and TVs at any time in the app. To delete your account and all your family's data, email hello@pompomtv.com and we'll do it within 30 days.
